Cool climate, estate grown wines hand crafted, naturally. Located in the Pyrenees region of Victoria, Blue Pyrenees Estate was among the modern Australian wine industry's first ventures into cool climate viticulture. The climate is warm enough to provide concentration and power, yet cool enough to impart vibrancy and elegance, and the resulting wines are truly remarkable.
Our winery and vineyard are blessed by many native flora and fauna species, with the gentle flow of the Wilyabrup brook running through the property giving a true sense of tranquillity.
We here at Thompson Estate believe it is our duty and desire to minimise the impact that our winery and vineyard may have on the sustainability of our land, water resources and the wider environment.
We are custodians of the vineyards established by our ancestors. We’re driven by the notion of family lineage and the handing on of the baton. Our aim in life is to live well, provide for our children, care for the land and hand our winery and vineyards on to the next generation. Our strategies to reduce water, chemical and energy use will nurture and maintain the land for future generations.
Bottles of untold stories.
Angas & Bremer takes its name from the two rivers revered as the heart and soul of Langhorne Creek. A region whose story remains untold, despite being one of the country’s most well regarded.
“The world is shaped by two things, stories told and the memories they leave behind.” — VERA NAZARIAN

Wine growing and wine making are difficult pursuits even in the best seasons. These wines all play to the real underlying strength of Great Southern – the fact that the region experiences a maritime Mediterranean climate that delivers steady and defined seasons. The climate is perfect for premium table wine growing; cool with dry summers and wet winters.
Our organic and biodynamic credentials have roots as deep as our decades-old vines because we firmly believe it is our responsibility to improve the land for future generations. Healthy soils lead to a healthy ecosystem and that rewards both us and you with the gems from which we craft our fine wines.
